The "pedibus"

The "pedibus" is a bus that goes on foot, it is made up of a caravan of children. these children go to school togheter with two adults, a driver in the front and a controller the end of the row. Everyone wears a highly visible vest. The pedibus travels everyday, whether it is sunny or ranny. Just like a real bus, it departs from the end of line and, while following a prearranged path, it takes the passengers at the bus stops along the way. Children of the Lombardo Radice have been forerunners of the pedibus experimentation , and together they reach school on foot, guided by some parents who volounteered, reducing traffic during the most busy moments of the day.
