One more Active Day in Turku

The Active School Days team celebrate the international environment day in Kupittaa park in Turku. All the participants went there using the public bus. When we arrived the Finnish team gave us a mission in order explore the biggest park in Finland.

We first spited in 5 mixed teams and we had to take a picture in each of the eight stations.

So we all met the Veritas Stadium, the Marli Arena, the Lintulammikko, the Lasten Liikennepuisto, the Seikkailupuisto, the Urheiluhalli, the Luistelumato and the Maauimala.

Then we all left our message to protect the environment and we played sketchers in the chess court.

 

The lunch time had arrived so we visited the closest restaurant to taste delicious finish dishes.

In the afternoon we were invited in Taru's house in the suburbs of Turku where we had great time with her family. The Finnish team opened the dinner with a welcome drink and then Taru's husband prepared home made pizza's for us accompanied with traditional drinks and desserts.

It really was an amazing day!!!
